Tristan Karaffa
4th Degree Blackbelt, Certified Instructor, Level 3 Judge Started my taekwondo journey at the age of six. Now as a young adult, I have graduated the Songham University with an associates degree in fulfilled my dream of becoming a ATA Licensee and entrepreneur!

Adam Karaffa
4th Degree Blackbelt,Certified Instructor, Level 3 Judge "The Father" Started my taekwondo journey with my son in 2013. I have had several State and District Champion Titles. The most rewarding thing is the friend, families, relationships built throughout this life changing journey! Titles and been ranked in the top ten in the world for several years of competing.But the most rewarding is the families and friends made along the way!

5th degree Black Belt, Level 3 Judge I started my TKD journey when I was 10 years old. I had tried other sports, but couldn't get into them. My first class, I fell in love and still love it 30 years later!

Mr. Cain
Certified Instructor Mr. Cain started his Taekwondo journey in May 2019, after years of cheering on his son Jacob from outside the ring. His competitive spirit, eagerness to learn, and desire to spend more time with Jacob led Mr. Cain to sign up for the "Orange Belt Challenge." He now has found a passion for instruction and loves to watch his students grow and evolve!
Clarissa Tinkey
Clarissa Tinkey is a 3rd-degree black belt and Level 2 instructor at Visionary Martial Arts in Oakmont, PA. She began Taekwondo at age eight and has become a decorated competitor, earning third-place world titles in combat sparring and multiple district championships. Now a graduating high school senior, she is pursuing a degree that will help her eventually open her own Taekwondo school. She credits Taekwondo with shaping her life through discipline, guidance, and patience, and she looks forward to training and inspiring others in class.

Mrs. Tricia Petrilla
I am a 2nd Degree Black Belt and have been training in Taekwondo since 2018 alongside my daughter, Calli. I love to compete both individually and with the Oakmonster's Combat Sparring Team. I hold two District Champion Titles and have earned a Level 1 Judging Certification.

Can I compete in Taekwondo tournaments?
Yes, Taekwondo tournaments are available for all levels and ages. There are local, regional, national, and international competitions available throughout the year. Visionary Martial Arts also hosts it's own in school tournament twice per year!
What is Taekwondo?
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that focuses on strike, kicks, and defensive techniques.
What style of martial arts do you teach?
We are an ATA affiliated school teaching Taekwondo
What should I wear?
A uniform is provided with your trial classes. We also offer several t-shirt days throughout the month that allow students to wear a martial arts t-shirt instead of the full uniform.
Are there extra fees or long term contracts?
No, our fees are posted throughout the facility and communicated accordingly. Our base fee is $145 per month. Testing fees are $60. Once a student achieves the rank of camo belt they will begin sparring and need safety gear. We do not have any long term contracts. We do offer commitment based discounts for six month or twelve month commitments.
Can you accommodate children with special needs?
Yes, we have personal experience in this matter! By being inclusive, providing structure, encouragement, and positive reinforcement, we allow everyone to progress at their own pace. we understand that everyone is different, we work with limitations, and focus on a positive atmosphere!
Am I allowed to watch my child's classes?
Absolutely, we encourage parents to take advantage of our spacious lobby and be proactive in the training of your child.
What trial programs do you offer?
We have a 4 week trial period for $49! This includes a uniform and unlimited classes for those 4 weeks, this is an incredible value meant to build rapport and confidence!
What are they age groups for your programs?
Visionary Martial Arts has 3 basic programs based on age. Our Tiger program is ages 3-7. Our Youth classes are 7-12. Our teen/adult program is 13 and above.
